Venue Description:
The heart of the Barbican's banqueting facility, the spectacular Conservatory, is a joy to discover. This lush, tropical oasis is home to finches, quails, exotic fish and over 2,000 species of tropical plants and trees.
Overlooking this magical setting, and with views of St. Giles Cripplegate and the fountains of the Lakeside Terrace, is our banqueting suite, the Garden Room. An elegant dining area which can be sub-divided for smaller parties, the Garden Room is stylishly decorated with eucalyptus burr panelling embellished with bronze and silvered glass.
Together with the Conservatory Terrace high up in the glass roof of the Centre, they form a stunning backdrop for cocktail receptions, buffets and formal banquets. The menus too, are equally as inspiring. Much thought, care and imagination goes in to the creation of the dishes we serve and, of course, only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. And, whatever the size of the event, you can count on attention to detail and impeccable service.
To make your evening even more distinctive, events can also be themed. Just talk through what you have in mind and the banqueting teams will originate a menu, tailor the decor and bring your ideas to life. The £40 package is only available on Monday, Tuesday & Friday. All prices exclude VAT at the current rate. Prices are based on a minimum of 80 people. Dishes may contain nuts. Optional service charge of £12.5% will be added to the final invoice. Seated supplement of £4 + VAT per person.
